Pala'au State Park State Parks Camping



Description

Scenic overview of historic Kalalupapa to which persons with Hansen’s Disease (leprosy) were once banished. Short trail leads to a phallic stone thought to enhance fertility. Picnicking and tent camping in an ironwood grove.

Camping Rates:

Hawaii Residents:  $12 per campsite per night for up to 6 persons; $2 per night for each additional person*.  Maximum fee per site: $20/night.

Non-residents:  $18 per campsite per night for up to 6 persons; $3 per night for each additional person*.  Maximum fee per site: $30/night.

*chlidren 2 and under free

NOTE:  Copy of camping permit required.  Permits may not be transferred.  No vehicles are allowed on campground.  Only authorized service animals are allowed at this park.  For emergencies, call park staff at (808) 567-6923.
